Ozark Autumn

 After leaving Bentonville, AR
we drove to Fayetteville
and then on into the Ozark Mountains.

The leaf color was beginning to change
and we stopped at a nice little roadside park.

It always amazes me how flowers can
grow right out of the rocks and be so pretty & dainty.

Along the little river there was nice color,
and a few rapids although we could
tell the area had suffered from the drought.

This was a very nice tranquil spot.

This was a pretty little spot and just down
the cliff were two young people
taking photographs and perhaps
doing a little spoonin'.

It was a nice drive on a lazy autumn day
in mid-October.
