Rosaria tagged me participate in Meme of the Moment. The photos above are near the special town of Taos, NM that my husband & I enjoy visiting. We are looking forward to going this summer as we were unable to visit last year.
Meme of the Moment1. What is your current obsession?
Getting my house refurbishing finished! Getting repairs made & returning to normal daily activities.
Also, adding to this is photography. I do enjoy taking photographs, not so much "snapshots" of friends, but beautiful or unusual or interesting things that I come across in everyday life or in our travels.
2.Which item of clothing do you wear often?
Tee shirt, jeans or cropped pants, socks & sneakers. Comfy clothing.
3.What's for dinner?
Tilapia, whole wheat pasta with zucinni & pine nuts, and a salad.
4.What are you listening to?
I'm an eclectic music lover. I love blues, rock, & classical. Right now I’m listening to an eclectic mix put together on my iTunes. Playing is “Come Together” by John Lennon, next two are Lennon’s “Only You” & “Imagine”. Also, have Robert Plant & Allison Krause’s CD “Raising Sand” in this mix… “Fortune Teller” is a cool one.
5.Say something to the one that tagged you.
Rosaria, thanks for tagging me. Hopefully this will jump-start me & get me back into some kind of rhythmic sense of blogging. I need a new direction as I feel very scattered at this particular point in time.
6.Favorite vacation spot?
New Mexico! Currently my husband & I enjoy spending time in Taos. It’s a small, artsy community with great weather. We escape the heat & humidity of Texas in July or August & love staying in Taos.
7. What I'm reading right now?
One Hundred Years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. I also have Origin of Species & Lone Star – A History of Texas on my bedside table. The latter two I peruse on occasion.
8. Four words to describe myself.
Steadfast, caring, curious, athletic.
9.Guilty pleasure.
Enjoying retirement
way more than I expected.
10. First Spring thing?
Spring cleaning – taking care of those baseboards, window sills, ceiling fans, etc. and buying beautiful fresh flowers!
11. What do you look forward to?
Enjoying as many years as I possibly can with my dear husband. Hopefully, the years will be long and healthy ones. Also, enjoying our sweet Gertie Girl, the rat terrier that adds so much to our lives.
Now it's my turn to tag 8 others to do the same; respond to the questions, rework those you need to rework, replace, add, and tag 8 others.

sixtyfivewhatnow for the opportunity to respond and to tag 9 more folks. I tried not to choose anyone who has recently been chosen and I wanted to tag a few blogs that I recently discovered. The last 3 are relatively new to me. I hope you will enjoy meeting all these fine folks.
