It is such a simple addition to our house,
but it makes a world of difference in our enjoyment.
I'll have started to rework the little garden by the fence
and hope to have yellow bells (Esperanza), lantana, lillies,
mint, and other herbs growing there.
The plants are in the ground and are waiting for springtime.
Needless to say I am thrilled with the outcome
and the G-man is ready to enjoy the space
after his round of golf!

The house got a new, much need, look.

The pergola makes for a cozier feel on the patio.

I like the detail the carpenters added to the runners on top.

Gorgeous! I love work in wood.
JJ & all, Thanks for the nice comments.
Rick, this is a good improvement to our patio and one I have wrestled with for several years. The builder/carpenter we hired did a great job.
Titus, once I thought I'd stain the uprights to match the fence, but after seeing it & loving the outcome we'll just put a sealer on it in about 30 days.
Gorgeous, Cheryl!
It works PERFECTLY with the rest of the house. What a magnificent addition to your home and your lifestyle.
I want one, too! :-)
