Bright & Beautiful Indeed

Today David at authorblog posted "Mall things bright & beautiful" and it reminded me of a photo I took in Paris 2 years ago. The vaulted ceiling in this department store was gorgeous & I took a few shots of it.

I have decided to leave this beautiful image as my banner photo until...
well, let's say until January rolls around.
Very festive.

Looking closely one can see the arches on the various floors
surrounding the enormous tree.

These photos bring back lovely memories of roaming
through Paris with the G-man; experiencing the city.
Paris is bright, colorful, delightful.

Today I've been printing some photos that I took while in France in December '08 and listening to the tunes on Renee's blog, "Circling My Head". This photo I took at a Christmas Bazaar in France has been one of my favorites and since I've enjoyed Renee's music & images today I decided to publish it for Renee.
