Peace & Beauty

A refreshing photo from an African summer day.
We are all freezing in the Northern Hemisphere
with 49 of the 50 U.S. states experiencing snow.
Queensland, AU is having terrible flooding.

I have a deep wish to visit this country
and to ride in this land Carlos calls home
in the Kilimanjaro Conservancy.
Imagine riding a horse through beautiful country
with Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance.
It must be heaven.

A lovely warm day, beautiful country & regal horse.
Spring & summer will come again in North America.

Peaceful Scenes ~ Place for Quiet Reflection

When I want to be peaceful I tend to think of wide-open spaces
and my mind gravitates to beautiful places in New Mexico.
I'm letting my mind travel there today.

Peace ~ Love ~ Happiness

Looking down on the town of Mora, New Mexico

"Lord, make me an instrument of your peace;
where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;

where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
and where
there is sadness, joy."
... St. Francis of Assissi

It is a tall order, but one worth the effort...
