Golf Day

The carts are ready for the Valentine's Day Memorial Tournament. "Memorial" because this is the last tournament for some time to come. The lovely course is closing.

We, "the girls", are ready for the tournament. Not all are in the photo ... others were practicing their putting.

# 15 Green - Colo Vista's Signature Hole

Looking down from the men's tee box to the green on the 15th hole. It is a spectacular view with the Colorado River winding along. Beautiful homes are hidden along the cliffs on the left side overlooking the river.

Lake between the 6th green & 7th tee box. A little pied-bill grebe lives here in winter.

Everything is brown because of winter, but this is a lovely view to the east with great sunrises.

Sunset over our town - 02-08-2009.

And after a WINDY and CLOUDY day of golf, we have a beautiful sunset. The wind blew fiercely (about 20-25 mph) and the clouds teased us with hope of rain all day. Then we get this wonderful sunset.

Red sky in morning, sailor take warning.
Red sky at night, sailor's delight.

We do hope for rain tonight and tomorrow, but it may be wishful thinking.

PS:
1st place winners in the Valentine's tournament were The Browns
2nd place winners were The Catos (in case anyone in cyber-land wondered)

It looks so beautiful where you live Cheryl.

The thing about dreams, you only need to think about the ones that keep repeating themselves or are very vivid.

Love Renee
