Adios 'W'

With any luck at all this will truly be the "farewell address" of George Dub-ya Bush. I listened to his speech and found the same tired old rhetoric that he has been pushing around for the last 7+ years. W was pretty nondescript until 9/11 and then he and his hardcore cohorts got really wound up.
I don't pretend to know what a Democratic president would have done, but I don't think we would have invaded Iraq in order to quell the fear and anger brought about by the terrorists. I think it was a rush to judgment on the advice of Rumsfeld and Cheney without making sure of the information gathered.
As has been stated by liberals in the media 'W' is not an intellectual and was easily led by stronger individuals. 'W' was probably looking for a fight and his cabinet members led him in the direction of war.
Bye George, let's hope you can get out of town quietly. Go build your institute in Dallas and invite all the "thinkers" to come and discuss policy. But please don't invite Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, Tom DeLay or Karl Rove for their expert advice... they might give it!

Yes, please do not invite them. Heaven forbid they give any more advice on anything.
