Question of the day from the "One Minute Writer".
Money can't in and of itself buy happiness, but it can go a LOOOOOG way to making life easier, thus increasing happiness. If one has enough money then one does not worry so much about the incidentals in life and would therefore be able to enjoy life more, again creating happiness.
Take a family who has several children and the parents have to work two jobs each to pay the mortgage, put food on the table, and buy the necessities for themselves and their children. Wouldn't one job per parent that paid enough to meet all the needs of the family make life easier and more pleasant? If families could sit together and have dinner, clean up afterwards and have time for the necessities (homework, housework, relaxation) be happier than someone who is striving to make ends meet and often not meeting those needs. Then on weekends be able to enjoy each other ... wouldn't that be happiness to some degree?
